Western’s Don Wright Faculty of Music's adult programs are among the most popular activities on campus. Women's Choir, running from September 9 to October 21, is designed for adult singers seeking a combination of group vocal instruction and choral singing.
There is no audition. Previous vocal training is not required and singers of all levels of vocal experience and ability are welcome, although participants do need some music reading ability. Rehearsals take place in Talbot College, Room 100 on Sundays, September 9 to October 21 (no session on October 7) from 3 to 4:30 p.m. and the final performance is on Sunday, October 28, 3 to 4:30 p.m. in von Kuster Hall (Music Building). Registration is $75, payable by cheque at the first session. Advance registration is required as space is limited. Interested female singers should contact Victoria Meredith at vmeredit@uwo.ca or 519-661-2111, ext. 85336. Please provide your name, telephone number, e-mail address, and what part you usually sing.
