In his nine years in office, Mulroney ushered in two free trade agreements. Citing the landmark Acid Rain Treaty, Mulroney made headlines in 2006 when he was named the "greenest" Prime Minister in Canadian history by Corporate Knights magazine.

Mr. Mulroney's accomplishments helped huge numbers of Canadians And Americans - and he's still involved that way today UNLIKE any Liberal PM before or after him. His visions were great then; and still are today - Harper's only flaw is Flaherty. Flaherty broke families by wiping out their investments & life's savings for entrepreneurs who retired their businesses..then called it "tax fairness for all."
Now he'll kill himself trying to substantiate his error. He's dragging Harper "down."
