What were the top campus stories of 2007?

What were the top campus stories of 2007? What will be important in the year ahead?

I'm not sure what story would be the biggest for last year but, it really looks like the wireless debate is continuing on.

Our prof. told us we were being monitored as to our activities while in class (how is this even POSSIBLE - are they hacking my computer?) and the threat of losing our laptops was extreme but under consideration.

I pay for my education. I can do what I want during class. If you can't handle it, sit in front of me. I am extremely fidgety so inbetween taking notes I play solitaire or backgammon to keep myself focused.

I'm still paying attention. Don't tell me how I learn best. It's my education to waste if I'm goofing off.

How about the controversy at King's surrounding the new Muslum emblem that found its way outside of Wemple building (it's been since moved to behind DL).

Sure not even most of the King's students knew what was going on but it did stir up a heck of a lot of controversy.

I think for the year ahead, I'd like to see what Western and the surrounding affiliated colleges can do to combat global warming. Get rid of the styrofoam containers and find better ways of conserving energy.
