in Canada, we have this thing called political correctness and speech codes; that should tell you all you need to know about Canada (and western's) commitment to free speech. I mean, Rush Limbaugh is reviled for being "conservative" (gasp!) but a feminist/marxist with an axe to grind against men (there are a few employed at UWO, by the way, which is why this "institution of higher learning" will never get a red cent from this alumnus) gets tenure-track.
Let's face it: who you are is a lot more important than what you say - and that explains why some views are tolerable on campus and others are not.
Its the Canadian way, in my humble opinion(hopefully, no white females reading this will sic the university rent a cops or the ontario human rights commission on me for having the audacity to present another point of view; we all know how much they hate ideological diversity).
