Congratulations on choosing The University of Western Ontario! Get ready for a new chapter in your life. Your next four years are going to be filled with fun, friends, good memories and hopefully a bit of learning as well. Coming to Western was a bit of a risk for me, as my parents wanted me to stay closer to home for school. However, this experience has been everything I wanted and more. I completely underestimated how quickly I would make new friends and feel at home in my new environment. As I enter my final year, the past three years almost seem like a blur, but when I look back to my first year I’m always instantly filled with happiness. UWO will always have a special place in my heart and I hope that this soon becomes true for you!
My best piece of advice would be to always try to keep a healthy balance. You will learn so much in the classroom, but make sure you get to see what this campus and London have to offer! While you may sometimes feel like a needle in a haystack, just know that there is something for each and every person at Western. This is my second time volunteering for the Off to Western event in Toronto and I love seeing the excitement that I once had in incoming students. You only get one first year! Live it to the fullest and leave no stone unturned. Hope to see you on campus!

My most fit an almost indisputable word to the wise could be to invariably attempt to keep a flourishing adjust.
