First year students were on the move this past weekend as more than 5,100 incoming students made their way to Western's campus to begin their journeys as university students. Many of these students were welcomed in August at Off to Western in their city!
With over 800 guests in attendance across our eight events, Off to Western had another record-setting year! The event series kicked off in Hong Kong on August 7th. On Saturday, August 13th, we were in Toronto to welcome our largest crowd ever with 225 guests filling up the theatre at SilverCity Yorkdale! Using the momentum from the first two events, we took over the west coast in Vancouver and Calgary and had a fantastic time in Ottawa and St. Catharines. Not even a tornado warning could stop the huge crowd in Oakville followed by Cambridge wrapping up the best Off to Western season ever.
