Wow, the last official day of the festival is here and it's been a pretty incredible ride. My feet are sore from all the walking I've done and my head is jammed with ideas that I can't wait to try.
I met Ben Blumenfeld from Facebook today and we got to hang out and talk about Facebook, how they work, some of their challenges, and some of the secret projects they've got coming down the pipeline. It was great meeting with him and even better when later one of his teammates bought lunch.
Speaking of which, today's best session was by Facebook and Hot Potato, talking about developing mobile websites. They game some good pointers and mentioned things to keep in mind when working on such a project.
Tonight after all of the festivities, we had a higher-ed dinner meetup where myself and Joyce dined with folks from the University of Missouri, Villanova University, University of Richmond, and Duke. It was a great, impromptu hangout that we all had been meaning to do the entire time. I'm so glad we got it in and got to meet new friends and people we can learn things from.
Gotta go pack up and get ready for tomorrow's security-checkpoint-laden adventure to come back to Canada, my awesome family, and my awesome friends at Western!

I "like" you on Facebook. Would love these for my oldest boy!
