If you rely on Word for a lot of your body copy and are code-savvy, have a look at your code and consider cleaning out the gunk.

Yes! Word is terribly sloppy. Whenever copying content from Word I always paste it into Notepad first to kill all of the formatting, then I can add my own CSS formatting.

I bet you will find trouble with the code in firefox. Microsoft does not like netscape. People who think it is easy to just use any designer to develop a site will find that it is rarely true.
