Appointment - FHS Associate Dean (Research)

Colleagues and Friends:

I am pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Helene Berman to the newly-created position of Associate Dean - Research in the Faculty of Health Sciences.

Dr. Berman is a Professor in the Arthur Labatt Family School of Nursing and the current Associate Director of the School. She has an extensive research program that has earned her a number of awards including being named a Nursing Career Scientist and an appointment as the Scotia Bank Research Chair for the Centre for Research and Education on Violence against Women and C hildren. Her work has garnered support from CIHR , SSHRC and the Status of Women Canada.
