It's been 5 weeks now and I can honestly say every day is an adventure. Given that the other OGE interns are writing a lot of content. My blog will be built on photos (with commentary).
Here are the products I brought.
First Row:
1. External charger for phone
2. Antiseptic spray for cuts (useful on treks)
3. Baby powder (smell good on treks)
4. Cleanser (there's air pollution in Bangalore, it's good to go with a non-comedogenic cleanser and cream
5. Shampoo bar from Lush (useful for travelling around India)
6. Deodorant (this is my best friend)
7. Band-aid (prepare to get blisters and cuts)
8. Cetaphil SPF face cream (super awesome)
Second Row:
1. After Bite (this is expensive in Canada, get the cheaper version in India for a fraction of the cost)
2. Diarrhea pills (haven't used them yet)
3. Acetaminophen (haven't used it)
4. Sunscreen (Banana Boat Naturals apparently has the least chemicals)
5. Wet Ones (haven't used it yet)
6. Mosquito repellant (these two brands have been terrible for India mosquitos)
7. Baby wipes (I've used almost half of my supplies already. They're really good for treks or just when you can't take showers)
Third Row:
1. Tums (haven't used them yet)
2. Shower gel
3. Shampoo (I've already gone through half my supply))
4. Gravol (they sell gravol in India! Get it here instead)
5. Prescribed medicine (even if you don't anticipate going on a Himalayan trek, get elevation medicine just in case you have a last-minute adventure on the mountains)
6. Soles for shoes (haven't used them yet)
I was told that India is very hot, so I brought a few ugly t-shirts I didn't really care about. I also didn't bring any exercising clothes because I didn't think I would be active here. Fortunately, unlike most cities, Bangalore is very breezy. I just wish I knew this earlier so I could have brought more clothes. To add to my lack of ability to foresee the future, I've also been struggling with the lack of exercising clothing given I've also been doing yoga and going to dance classes. To make up for my wardrobe shortage, I've bought a decent amount of Indian clothing. I love the clothes here, but I wish I brought more basic clothing pieces like tank tops. On a positive note, I did bring items that I've put to good use: my running shoes, rain boots (more monsoon season), rain coat, travellers backpack, and a few books.
This post is related with what I’m concerned with and it’s fantastically made. Thanks very much for your hardworking.
