Do you know someone who would want to be part of what's next?
3M is looking to connect with talented, creative and high-energy university and graduate students who are interested in getting to 3M, and gain valuable business experience while networking with students from other regions including Brazil, Panama Pacifico, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, Japan, Mexico and the United States to solve a business case.
Here's how it works:
- 3M Canada will host up to 15 applicants at a local case competition event to be held in London, ON during the month of May 2015.
- Working in teams of 3, participants will be tasked with solving a business case relative to 3M.
- The top three participants from the local competition will travel to the global case competition event to be held in St. Paul, MN in July 2015, where they will participate in global teams of 3 to solve another strategic business case.
- The winners of the global case competition will be offered a six-month mentorship with a 3M Senior Leader Mentor in their home country. Through that mentorship, the mentor will share insights and points of view built upon their experiences and key learnings throughout their career. Acting as a resource for information about their profession, 3M and the industries in which 3M is involved, the mentor will serve as a sounding board and offer constructive and meaningful feedback to the mentee who will soon be transitioning from academic to industry.
As an added incentive for Canadian participants, 3M Canada is offering a 12-month contingent employment opportunity (winners must meet 3M Canada and Talentcor eligibility requirements), should they win the global case competition finals.
