The School of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies (SGPS) is now accepting nominations of eligible candidates from Graduate Chairs and Directors for the 2019-2020 Vector Scholarships in Artificial Intelligence (VSAI) competition.
The scholarship is for incoming 2019-2020 master’s students:
- In the Master of Data Analytics (AI) program.
- In the Master of Computer Science and Electrical and Computer Engineering (Collaborative Specialization in Artificial Intelligence).
- Who are undertaking AI-focused research in any Master’s program.
- Who have achieved a minimum 80%, or equivalent, over the last two years of study, full-time equivalent.
- Is nominated by the program’s Graduate Chair/Director.
- Who will be registered full-time in 2019-2020, including both domestic and international students.

Application (in this order)
- Official transcripts.
- Reference Report Form (2 required).
- Candidate statement of 250 words outlining their reason for pursuing a master’s in AI, relevant AI-related experience, and career aspirations.
- A description of the candidate’s AI-related study plan (e.g. course numbers and titles; capstone/project description) signed by the nominee and the Graduate Chair or Director.
