Western Libraries, in partnership with the Centre for Teaching and Learning (CTL), Instructional Technology Resource Centre (ITRC) and Western Research’s Knowledge Exchange and Impact Team, is excited to announce applications are now open for the Open Educational Resources Grant and Support Program.
What is it?
Instructors who want to create, adapt, or adopt an open educational resource (OER) for use in one or more courses in 2024-25 can now apply for up to $7,500 in grant funding plus in-kind supports.
Who can apply?
Western instructors, including instructors of co-curricular learning opportunities.
What's the deadline?
March 13 at 11:59 p.m. EST.

Drop-in office hours to discuss project ideas, receive advice, and learn more or ask questions about open education will be hosted on Zoom on February 28 from 11 a.m – 12 p.m. and March 10 from 2 – 3 p.m. Register to receive connection details (February 28 registration; March 10 registration).
Interested applicants that need help identifying OER to adopt or adapt can also attend the upcoming workshop about Finding and Evaluating OER on February 23, 2023 at 1:30 p.m (on Zoom).
