Western's 3MT Winners Announced!

Today, April 9, 2015, marked Western University's 3MT Final. The best students from faculties across the school competed in an entertaining afternoon event that culminated with the selection of the top three candidates.

We are pleased to announce our top three winners. Click on the names below to watch their presentations:

Announcing Western’s Top 20 3MT Finalists for 2015!

After eight exciting heats that have taken place over the past six weeks, the School of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies is pleased to announce the top 20 students across the university that will be competing in the Western 3MT Final.

Health Sciences 3MT Registration Deadline: Wednesday, March 18

Current Health Sciences graduate students are invited to compete in their 3MT 2015 faculty heat on Wednesday, March 25.

The deadline to register is Wednesday, March 18.

The Health Sciences heat will take place in SH Michael’s Garden Room #3320 from 3:30 p.m. to 4:45 p.m.


Eligibility

• Presentations must be based on research that is directly related to your graduate program thesis or major research paper.
• You must register for the event with the School of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies, who will confirm your entry.
• You must be available to present, in person, on Wednesday, March 25. To advance in the competition, you must also be available to present, in person, at Western’s 3MT final on Thursday, April 9.

Current Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry graduate students are invited to compete in their 3MT 2015 faculty heat on Thursday, March 19 or Friday, March 20.
