
The Centre for Teaching and Learning (CTL) is hiring graduate students!
The closing date for applying to be a Teaching Assistant Training Program Instructor for the 2021/22 academic year has been extended to April 30.
The Teaching Assistant Training Program (TATP) Instructor will be responsible for the delivery of assigned CTL programming, initially online for the Summer and early Fall, transitioning to onsite (f2f) instruction as the Fall term progresses.
Instructors will deliver a variety of sessions that focus on designing effective lectures, facilitating labs and classroom discussions, providing students with feedback, and grading best practices. Instructors will also mentor program participants during small group hands-on teaching sessions, and work with CTL educational developers to collaboratively design CTL programming.
Most instructors work approximately 60 hours per year, but the number of hours will vary depending on participant enrollment in TATP sessions.
