Shoshauna Oryema - Welcome to My World

"Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass... It's about learning to dance in the rain."

This quote by Vivian Greene was shared with me when I needed it the most and now it's one I try to live by.

My name is Shoshauna Oryema and I just finished my second year of chemical engineering at Western University. I am spending this May abroad in Nancy, France studying at l'école nationale supérieure des industries chimiques (ENSIC) through the course ES3310: Chemical Engineering in a Global Context.

I am a 20 year old Guyanese-Ugandan who is an avid traveller, foodie, and Bollywood movie enthusiast from Toronto, Ontario.

My next few posts will highlight my visit and act as a glimpse into my time here in Nancy.
